Salvus Center provides affordable primary healthcare to the working uninsured living or working in Sumner County, TN. Our medical leadership team includes Dr. Geoffrey Lifferth and Dr. Jeremiah Judkins. Medical expenses are determined based on a sliding scale.
The idea behind affordable primary healthcare is to provide a go-to medical home for every patient. We operate much like the old-fashioned generalists of the past–but with a distinctly contemporary approach to medicine. Your primary care team works to get to know you, your medical history, and your needs and plays a vital role as the key first contact in your wellness decisions.
Preventive care is a key focus in a good primary care practice. Your primary care providers are on a mission to help you stay healthy with regular checkups and immunizations. But we're also there for you when you get sick, whether it's an occasional acute illness or support and guidance in managing a chronic condition. Some of the most important services we provide are:
Well visits and physicals
Immunizations both for children and adults
Treating acute illnesses and injuries–from the flu to broken bones
Managing chronic illness and coordinating complex care with specialists
Nutrition and weight loss care
Pediatric and adolescent care
Essential women's healthcare, including Pap smears for cervical cancer testing and treatment of PMS and migraine headaches.
Salvus Center has established a referral process through our partnerships that allow us to refer patients for needed specialty care through a network of community-based physician specialists, collaborating hospitals, and ancillary partners.
We've established a network of some of the best Doctors and Medical Facilities in Sumner County. Our partners continue to grow and change ongoingly. Below is a list of just some of the partners we are grateful to work with:
Safety Net Consortium of Middle Tennessee and Tennessee Charitable Care Network (TCCN)
The Safety Net Consortium of Middle Tennessee's mission is to make Middle Tennessee healthier by bringing together health care providers, public sector agencies, academia, community-based and other organizations to advocate, build capacity, and coordinate efforts to improve the health of the medically underserved. Through this work, the consortium strives to make Middle Tennessee a place where all residents, including the uninsured and underinsured, have access to high-quality, affordable health care.
